By Boat See Irish Ferries from Rosslare to Roscoff and Cherbourg ,Brittany Ferries from Cork to Roscoff.
P&O connect from Portsmouth to Calais and Bilboa, neither of which is convenient to Vendée.
By Plane
Ryanair travel to La Rochelle , Nantes and Poitiers from Dublin and Stansted all of which are under 1 1/2 from the house . They also serve Limoges and Bergerac which are all within a couple of hours drive of Vendée.
